When considering an intensive driving course, there are a few important points to keep in mind. It is recommended to schedule your course so that you already have a test date arranged. The theory test usually has a two-week waiting list, while the practical driving test has a five-week waiting list, as determined by the DVSA (Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency). To book your practical test, you must first pass the theory test, which typically means that you will need at least seven weeks before being able to sit your test. After this, pupils generally opt for one of two approaches: they either complete all their lessons intensively over one or two weeks, or they take a semi-intensive course in the weeks leading up to the test. The latter may be more beneficial as it allows more time for the lesson material to be absorbed, but it may not be convenient for everyone’s schedule. As a result, Client Centred offers both types of training. If you choose to book an intensive driving course, you will be required to pay the total cost upfront. This enables the instructor to clear his schedule for the specified days with confidence.

The terms and conditions of the intensive driving course

The fees for the intensive courses mentioned above do not include the price of the practical driving test.

If you’d like, we may arrange for you to take your practical driving test; this service is available for an extra £62 and £75 for weekends and bank holidays, which is paid directly to the DVSA to pay the test fee. You must be able to show your instructor your Theory Certificate and proof that you passed the DVSA Theory Test.

You must pay a non-refundable £200 fee to reserve a spot in the intensive driving course. The whole amount must always be paid no later than one week before the start of the course.
One week before your test date, your teacher will evaluate your chances of passing your practical driving exam in order to protect the test cost you have already paid. This gives you the best chance of passing the first time and enables you to postpone or reschedule your test without incurring additional fees.
